Early morning rain and thunderstorms will taper off by mid-morning. Clouds will give way to partly sunny skies with plenty of heat and humidity. Temperatures will climb into the low 90s this afternoon with a slight 20% chance for an isolated storm later today.
Late tonight into Tuesday morning another round of storms will likely develop across North Texas. Some of these storms could be severe with a threat for high winds and hail. Additional rain totals could exceed 2 inches of rain.
